Watched Butterfly Effect last night

I was really impressed with it!

I hadn't really followed what the movie was about other than someone being able to time travel and affect history via the chaos theory.

A little long to set it all up, but once the travelling got started everything started to click with the long setup.

We watched the director's cut version, and then went back to see the theatrical ending. I can say that the director's cut version was far better in that it posed more questions than the nice-neat wrapped up ending of the theatrical version.

At the end, you seem to be asking yourself "Is time linear where the past dictates the future, or does the future dictate the past. Then again, it could all already be laid down and all we are doing are going through the motions."

Yeah -that too.

Still a good movie though, we watched it and didn't realize we had been sitting there for that long! That is a sign of a good movie for us - when we are sitting watching it and not noticed that over 2 hours has gone by

There were a couple in the 80s that did pretty well also!

One that comes to mind is Young Einstein!
